Erect or spreading shrub, 0.3-1.5 m high. Fl. white, Aug to Dec or Mar. Sandy or clayey soils, laterite. Sandplains.
Scientific Description
Stems unribbed. Leaves compressed or flat, 10-35 mm long, 0.8-1 mm wide, Indumentum absent (leaves glabrous); margins entire. Bracteoles present, 1.5-2 mm long, glabrous. Pedicel pedicellate, Pedicel length the pedicels 5-15 mm long, glabrous. Calyx lobes present, Calyx length 1.5-2.5 mm long, glabrous. Corolla white, 9-12 mm long, auriculate, not spurred, glabrous on the outside, glabrous on the inside; central lobes 1.5-5.5 mm long, with wings; outer lobes 4-6.5 mm long, wings present on both sides, 0.2-0.4 mm wide. Anthers free. Ovary inferior, not gibbose; style 4-5 mm long, glabrous; indusium single, hairy; ovules more than two. Flowers in January, February, March, August and December. Occurs in the Coolgardie (COO), Swan Coastal Plain (SWA), Avon Wheatbelt (AW), Jarrah Forest (JF), Mallee (MAL) and Esperance Plains (ESP) IBRA Region(s), of the Eremaean (E) Botanical Province.
