Decumbent to ascending annual, herb, 0.01-0.2 m high. Fl. yellow, Aug to Oct. Sand, sandy or clay loam.
Scientific Description
Stems unribbed. Leaves flat, 10-45 mm long, 5-15 mm wide, Indumentum present, with sparse, glandular hairs; margins lobed. Bracteoles absent. Pedicel pedicellate, Pedicel length the pedicels 10-17 mm long, Indumentum present, Hair type with simple hairs. Calyx lobes present, Calyx length 2.5-3.5 mm long, hairy, with sparse, simple hairs. Corolla yellow, 8-10 mm long, without auricles, not spurred, hairy on the outside, with sparse, simple hairs, hairy on the inside; central lobes 2-2.2 mm long, with wings; outer lobes 3.3-4 mm long, wing present on both sides and clearly unequal, 0.5-0.6 mm wide on the narrower side, 0.6-0.8 mm wide on the broader side. Anthers free. Ovary inferior, not gibbose; style 3.2-5 mm long, glabrous; indusium single, hairy; ovules more than two. Flowers in August, September and October. Occurs in the Yalgoo (YAL), Murchison (MUR), Coolgardie (COO), Geraldton Sandplains (GS), Avon Wheatbelt (AW) and Mallee (MAL) IBRA Region(s), of the Eremaean (E) and South West (SW) Botanical Province.
