Rosetted perennial, herb, 0.15-0.65 m high, Leaves erect to spreading, oblanceolate, 2-7 cm long, 2-9 mm wide, apex subacute, margin entire, glabrous, glaucous. Scape glabrous. Inflorescence racemose. Fl. white/pink, Jan to May. Peaty sand. Seasonally wet swamps and depressions. Sedgeland, Agonis shrubland, woodland.
