Erect perennial, herb, 0.12-0.5 m high, Leaves adpressed to stem, lanceolate, 0.2-0.4 cm long, 0.7-1 mm wide, apex mucronate, margin hyaline or margin hyaline and ciliate, glabrous; inflorescence racemiform. Fl. pink, Feb to May. Sandy clay or clay loam over laterite. Flats, swampy areas, rocky slopes, upland, mallee shrubland and heath.
