Rosetted perennial, herb, 0.08-0.25 m high, Leaves erect to spreading, linear, 1-4 cm long, 0.4-1 mm wide, apex subacute, margin entire, glabrous. Scape glandular on inflorescence axis, glabrous below. Inflorescence racemose. Fl. yellow, Sep to Nov. White or grey sand over laterite. Sandplains, hillslopes and gullies. Heath, open woodland.
