Erect to spreading shrub, 0.2-0.7 m high. Fl. yellow, Jun to Oct. White, grey or yellow sand, lateritic gravel.

Scientific Description

Shrubs; branchlets hairy. Leaves alternate, 35-95 mm long, hairy; petiole hairy; lamina flat, twice or more divided, pinnately divided or tripartitely divided, deeply divided or divided to the midrib, indumentum appressed; distance from base of leaf to lowest lobe 15-40 mm; terminal leaf lobe 6-8 mm long, 2-5 mm wide; lowest lobes 25-40 mm long. Inflorescences yellow; scape 30-70 mm long; floral bracts 3-4.5 mm long. Perianth 5.7-7.5 mm long, hairy; adaxial tepal 5.7-7.5 mm long; abaxial tepal 5-5.5 mm long; ovary hairy, style glabrous; style including stigmatic disc 4-4.3 mm long, lobed; stigma 1 mm long, 1.5 mm wide. Follicles 3-3.5 mm long. Flowers in June, July, August, September or October. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Geraldton Sandplains (GS) IBRA subregion(s).
