Clumping tuberous, perennial, herb, to 0.4 m high. Fl. pink/white, Aug to Nov. Deep white sand, grey sand over limestone, peaty sand, brown clayey sand, yellow-brown laterite clay, clay loam, granite. Winter-wet swamps & flats, along creeklines, previously burnt areas, Jarrah forest.
