Erect, lignotuberous shrub, 0.25-1(-1.5) m high. Fl. red & cream/cream-yellow, Jun or Aug to Dec or Jan or Mar. Grey sand.
Scientific Description
Shrubs, 0.25-1.5 m high. Leaves alternate, 10-15 mm long, 3-5 mm wide, glabrous; lamina flat, widest around the middle or clearly widest above the middle, entire, with glands at the leaf (or leaf lobe) apex. Inflorescences red; innermost bracts 5-5.5 mm long; peduncles 2-3 mm long. Perianth 20-22 mm long, hairy; ovary hairy; pistil 27-29 mm long, pollen presenter erect, style hairy or glabrous. Flowers in January, February, March, June, July, August, September, October or November. Occurs in the Eremaean (ER) or South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Coolgardie (COO), Mallee (MAL) or Esperance Plains (ESP) IBRA subregion(s).
