Densely branched, non-lignotuberous shrub, 0.4-1 m high. Fl. yellow-orange, Jul to Oct. Gravelly soils. Lateritic rises.
Scientific Description
Shrubs, 0.40-1 m high; branchlets hairy. Leaves petiolate, alternate, 310-395 mm long, 9-15 mm wide, hairy; petiole 30-55 mm long; lamina flat, once divided, pinnately divided, shallowly divided, with 25-75 lobes on each side, the margins revolute. Inflorescences hirsute (with long, rough and coarse hairs), yellow; innermost bracts 45-50 mm long, hairy. Perianth 43-46 mm long, glabrous, without awns; pistil 48-55 mm long, curved, style hairy. Follicles hairy, pubescent (with soft, straight, erect hairs), oblong, 15-16 mm long. Flowers in August or September. Occurs in the Eremaean (ER) or South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Coolgardie (COO) or Mallee (MAL) IBRA subregion(s). : Conservation code Priority Three (P3).
