Bushy, often gnarled shrub or tree, 1-4(-5) m high, bark fissured, flaking off in brittle pieces. Fl. yellow, Jan or Apr or Jun to Dec. Rocky sand, clay. Gibber plains, stony rises, along creeks & drainage lines.
