Scientific Description
Erect, shrub, spindly shrub (broom-like). Stems terete, not spiny, hairy; pustules or glands absent. Leaves or phylloclades clearly present, compound, alternate, not continuous with stem, 10-25 mm long, hairy, with simple hairs, flat with flat margins; margins entire; tubercles absent, palmately arranged, terminal leaflet absent; pustules or glands absent. Stipules present and persistent to older leaves. Corolla uniformly coloured, yellow; claws present. Stamens ten. Fruit dehiscent (a pod or follicle), 9-13 mm long, 6 mm wide, sessile or subsessile, not constricted between the seeds, flat or compressed, glabrous, beaked. Flowers in January. Occurs in the Northern Botanical Province, in the Northern Kimberley IBRA regions.
