Scientific Description

Twining or climbing plants. Stems terete, not spiny, hairy; pustules or glands absent. Leaves or phylloclades clearly present, compound, alternate, not continuous with stem, 8-15 mm long, hairy, with simple hairs, flat with flat margins; margins entire; tubercles absent, pinnately arranged, terminal leaflet absent, sessile; pustules or glands absent. Stipules present and persistent to older leaves, 2-5 mm long, without glands, ribless. Bracteoles present and persistent. Corolla multicoloured, mostly yellow or brown, with some yellow or brown spots, streaks or blotches. Stamens ten. Fruit 20-30 mm long, 5-7 mm wide, glabrous. Flowers in April, May, July and August. Occurs in the Eremaean Botanical Province, in the Gascoyne, Little Sandy Desert, Gibson Desert, Central Ranges, Murchison and Great Victorian Desert IBRA regions.
