Scientific Description

Stems unribbed. Leaves flat, 15-70 mm long, 2-10 mm wide, Indumentum present, with dense, glandular hairs; margins entire. Bracteoles present, 4-6 mm long, hairy, with simple hairs. Pedicel absent (flowers sessile). Calyx lobes present, Calyx length 2.5-3.5 mm long, hairy, with sparse, simple hairs. Corolla white, 9-11 mm long, without auricles, not spurred, hairy on the outside, with dense, simple hairs, hairy on the inside; central lobes 4-5 mm long, with wings; outer lobes 2.5-3 mm long, wings present on both sides, 0.2-0.4 mm wide. Anthers free. Ovary inferior, not gibbose; style 4-5 mm long, glabrous; indusium single, hairy; ovules one or two. Flowers in July, August, September, October and November. Occurs in the Carnarvon (CAR) and Geraldton Sandplains (GS) IBRA Region(s), of the Eremaean (E) and South West (SW) Botanical Province.
