Spreading tree or shrub, to 8 m high, bark grey, rough, crazed; fruit green, flattish, round. Fl. white/cream/yellow, Aug to Oct. Red clay over laterite, stony quartzite soils, coarse skeletal gravelly soils, sandstone. Hills, plateaus, cliffs, creekbeds, rocky edges of scre slopes, small depresions.
