Stems unribbed. Leaves flat, 10-40 mm long, 1-2.5 mm wide, Indumentum hairy, with dense, present, glandular hairs; margins entire or toothed (?). Bracteoles present, 4-12 mm long, hairy, with simple, glandular hairs. Absent (flowers sessile). Calyx lobes present, Calyx length 6-8 mm long, hairy, with sparse, glandular hairs. Corolla mauve, 13-18 mm long, without auricles, rarely not spurred, hairy on the outside, with sparse, simple, glandular hairs, hairy on the inside; central lobes 6-7 mm long, with wings; outer lobes 5.5-8 mm long, wing present on both sides and clearly unequal, 1.2 mm wide on the narrower side, 1.5 mm wide on the broader side. Anthers rarely free. Ovary inferior, not gibbose; style 9-10 mm long, hairy; indusium single, hairy; ovules one or two. Flowers in January, August, September, October, November and December. Occurs in the Geraldton Sandplains (GS), Swan Coastal Plain (SWA), Avon Wheatbelt (AW), Jarrah Forest (JF), Warren (WAR) and Esperance Plains (ESP) IBRA Region(s), of the South West (SW) Botanical Province.
